This tool helps garment professionals calculate fabric consumption and weight for T-shirts. Essential for costing, ordering fabric, and production planning.
📝 Step-by-Step Process
1. Enter Basic Info
Style # – Your reference code (e.g., ST-2024)
Size – Garment size (S, M, L, XL, etc.)

Fabric Width is fixed in inches (industry standard)

📊 Understanding the Formula
The calculator uses industry-standard method:
Total length = Body + Sleeve + 8cm allowance
Fabric area = (Total length × ½ Chest) × 2 (front & back)
Consumption = Area ÷ (Fabric width × 95% utilization)
Weight = (Consumption × Width × GSM) ÷ 1000
Add wastage = Multiply by (1 + wastage%)
